Community Activities

The Palm Beach Watercolor Society supports community watercolor education and appreciation. By sponsoring over one hundred days each year of watercolor exhibits, it promotes public interest and knowledge concerning the Arts.

From the months of October through May, we offer monthly demonstrations which are open to the public. They are offered by professional watercolor artists. See the schedule of demonstrations on our website under ‘Meetings’.

Every year, a series of 3 or 4 Day Workshops are offered, featuring both national and International instructors. These are open to the public, as well as our members.  Look at the webpage under workshops

We donate Art Supplies to many local schools throughout the year under the Public School Art Program Funding.

The ongoing very special arts program of Palm Beach County program gathers donations and new art supplies to aid challenged children and adults participating in their individual artistic endeavors.

Open to watercolor artists residing in Florida, we offer an Annual Open Juried Watercolor Exhibition. Cash and ribbons are awarded, recognizing and encouraging the water media art across Florida.


We offer a PAINT - IN program on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at the Boca Raton Community Center 150 Crawford Road, Boca Raton From 9 am - 12 noon, Professional models are provided. Contact Dona Nenner at (561) 362-5506 or

We have outstanding watercolor videos by nationally known artists which are available for loan. A deposit will be refunded upon return of the DVD.
